First, there is the fear that you will never find what it is you seek. Then, there is the fear of losing it. All this for a happiness that is shallow and temporary at best.

If happiness is just around the corner, and if its source is in the external world, why has it not yet exactly arrived after a lifetime of hoping, chasing, sacrificing, and waiting? If it has not arrived after so many years, what reason is there to believe that another day or another year will bring any different result?

Forget the misguided lessons of this world. Look now and look within. The source of everything we seek is in the vast, inner spaciousness. We continue to do, to create, to engage in the world—but in so doing we try not to shift attention from the inner energy field that exists in the eternal present moment.

Now joy flows freely. Energy soars. The mind lets go of insanity and begins to serve the true reality. Now your life situation does improve and you are happier—not because something happened in the external world; rather, because you went within. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.

In any situation, there is a true path. What prevents people from honoring it is the urge to control.

When we push things in the direction of where we think it should go, we are distorting the situation by not allowing it to be as it is.

When we try to control perceptions, or to change a person, or force what we want without regard to the other person, we create discomfort, distress, and unease.

When respect for the equilibrium is lost, the relationship becomes inflexible and brittle. It becomes work. It loses its purpose, which is love.

How easily we forget that there is a true path that requires no effort, no sacrifice, no figuring anything out. It is the path of mutual and unconditional acceptance. Let each other be, and equilibrium is never lost. Neither is the love. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.

Those moments of happiness, fun, and beauty are always available and in limitless supply. What we value and appreciate most in life has nothing to do with the commercial, fictitious world. We depend upon man-made systems to function, and it also provides some shallow thrills and distractions, but we look to nature to truly live.

In the fictitious world, there is always something that needs doing. Just one more step, one more thing, one more day until I can finally enjoy myself. But enjoyment is not something that automatically happens after everything is done. It is not a break from life. It is life.

We can prioritize our time according to what matters—beauty, rest, feeling good, bonding with a loved one, experiencing nature or parks, sitting still to simply observe the world, exercise, sex, music, reading, practicing an art or craft, creating something, helping someone from a place of inspiration. We can choose to do these things first.

Make sure your enjoyment level is enough so that you experience life as an ongoing state of joy. This sounds impossible to a busy mind. Why? All these things are basically free, natural, and available each moment no matter where we live. Just stop. Allow yourself some time to do what feels good. Now you can get some work done, do the dishes, clean up the mess, buy the groceries, and pay the bills—but the doing flows from a continued state of enjoyment.

Those who claim to have no time for enjoyment are simply prioritizing everything that does not matter and sacrificing everything that does. It is a trap to deplete yourself now and expect joy to come later. There is time for everything because life is only an ongoing present moment. We live in eternity; not past, present, and future. Time is not the problem.

Some people in your life may not agree, but you are free. Those who argue otherwise are using you. But you were born with free will into a world where everything wonderful is natural and free. Unblock yourself. Free your mind. Free your life. Open your heart to beauty. Align with the real world—the free and natural one. Choose love. Joy is your natural state. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.

All of it. Hold nothing back. I will no longer tolerate the old-fashioned ways of communicating and living. The deceit, dishonesty, manipulation, calculation, control, attack, judgement, reward & punishment, and all forms of darkness. This, the withholding of honesty, is all so stupid. It is only our tolerance of dishonesty that has caused all the problems. This is the murky foundation of everything we hate about life. I am far past being done with it.

I withdraw all attention from those who withhold honesty. People, media, politicians, celebrities, the news, all of it. If you cling to the old-fashioned ways of stupidity, I can only shake my head and look the other way. The verdict is in, reality is now understood, the Great Awakening has occurred, and now life will go on very differently. This current era is to be lived in total honesty, truth, and openness. Each moment the truth is ascending and darkness is being vanquished.

All this time, darkness has remained only because we have failed to turn the light switch. There was a simple choice, and throughout history we have failed. We thought it normal and acceptable to navigate those dark rooms. Bumping into everything, still we were too afraid to turn on the switch. We became very bruised. So many people suffered and died. Yet we remained in the dark, bumping into everything and fumbling around like fools. Arguing about which version of fiction was right or better.

The meek shall now inherit the Earth. We accept only truth and this isn’t going to change. We are shining the light of reality everywhere, so get on board or learn the hard way. The confused fools of dishonesty have had their chance and have clearly made a mess of everything. Now everything is being cleaned up so that all truth and beauty can be revealed. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.

The world convinces us that we are not good enough, and that we can only become good enough by learning more, achieving more, having more, looking better, and by being more right about everything.

This game of becoming more is pointless. The more we try to add to ourselves, the more ridiculous we look. None of it makes us any more attractive or lovable. To anyone familiar with truth and beauty, it does just the opposite. By trying to be something extra, you bury what you already are—which is already perfect.

Just be what you are. Let the enjoyable and beautiful external things remain part of your life, but never try to make that your identity. You are already you, and you’ve been you since you were born. Just do your thing, smile your smile, and laugh your laugh. Now you’re looking your best because your truth is shining through.

Think of the people who you most admire. Are these not the people who are most comfortable being who they are? We continue tomorrow and each day after that.
