If you let yourself be blown to and fro, you lose touch with your root. If you let restlessness move you, you lose touch with who you are. – Tao Te Ching
Why this is the rapture, the second-coming of Jesus Christ

Stay centered

Imagine yourself stuck to this wheel.

To reach for or cling to anything in the external world, such as status or possessions, is to move from the center of the wheel further toward its edges.

Now imagine the wheel in motion. The more you reach, the further out toward the edge you go. While the ride is still slow, you can still hang on. But as the wheel races faster and faster, you will be become sick from the ups and downs and flung about until you eventually are thrown off.

But stay at the center and you will remain calm and still. No matter how fast the wheel turns, you will remain safe and at peace. The world is spinning very fast right now. We need to find the center of the wheel.

These daily teachings will help you learn to enjoy life at the center of the wheel. It has nothing to do with discipline or will-power. There is nothing you would want that needs to be sacrificed. The way isn't hard, but it is very different.
