Abscondo Podcast #73: The 4 Areas of Life Where Problems Arise
If you want something, but fear it at all, you will not have it because you do not truly want it.

Healing is a collaborative venture. (A Course in Miracles)

The most difficult thing to do in the world today is to convince a brother or sister to join with you at all. In a world overcome by the thought system of separation, the range of human interaction is between suspiciousness at best and viciousness at worst.

Even when you open yourself to a brother or sister, when you are able to truly help and willing to trust fully, it is nearly impossible to convince anyone to even do as much as to respond. This collective retreat into isolation is the cause of our suffering and lack. We are leaving one another alone; and alone, we can accomplish very little. To overcome this littleness, we need only open our hearts and minds.

Imagine if we might decide for a world where we are open to one another, willing to at least explore all the ways we might serve one another. With each new day, we would find new ways to connect. Together, the whole would be so much greater than the sum of the parts. So much more business would transact, so much innovation, so much utter enjoyment as we would come to know one another. We would learn so much and receive all the help and support we need. Life would feel like play, not like this endless drudgery trying to hide our truths behind these walls where we cling to so much unnecessary sacrifice.

What joy have you found hiding behind these cold walls of separation? A Course in Miracles states, “Healing is the way in which the separation is overcome. Separation is overcome by union. It cannot be overcome by separating.”

My God, do we not see that we are all part the same one consciousness? The same things that matter most to me (love, health, feeling good, etc.) also matter the most to you. Everyone is getting so worked up over our differences—looking for reasons to retreat in fear and cowardice—but I’m not scared of our differences. I know all my brothers and sisters just as I know myself—and I stand with open arms ready to connect on the level where we are one.  I know your true worth, and this healing will unleash your utter perfection. What is there to be afraid of?
