Nothing has ever happened in the past that can prevent you from being present now. (Eckhart Tolle)
You cannot love an ego, nor love from the ego.

Centered in truth

If you push a pendulum in one direction, you exert energy to move it in the direction you want it to go. If you hold it there, you continue to exert energy and, worse yet, consume all your time and attention because you aren’t free to do anything else.

At some point, you must let go. Now the pendulum will swing just as far in the other extreme—the exact opposite direction you intended.

There is an ideal position requiring no effort: the center, which can only be found by letting it be.

The resting, centered position is the pendulum’s truth. Any energy exerted in any direction will only cause a bunch of movement—but eventually the pendulum will return to its center.

These same principles apply to all of life. “The way” is to be found in the center—the balancing point between the extremes. You find it by not engaging in the extremes—by staying centered in truth while others exhaust themselves in vain at the extremes.

Rest in truth, where no doing is required and where everything is already at its destination (which is the same as its origin). Stay centered and feel the power and energy. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.
