The world isn’t here to make you happy; rather, to make you conscious.

Open yourself to the Tao, then trust your natural responses, and everything will fall into place.

The Tao is, of course, another word for the unmanifested, universal knowing, consciousness or God. To open yourself to the Tao is to humble yourself, to quiet the mind, to align with the light, to be love.

So many words, so many ways of describing the same thing. Let the words go. Look beyond the words, with a still mind, to what the words point to. Open yourself to the invisible realm of perfect knowing and complete stillness that is everywhere, even within.

Say a prayer each day only that you might align perfectly with God, with the Tao, with Love, with consciousness, with knowing. Pray to the symbol of a church, or simply to a tree, none of it makes any difference. It is a prayer only for openness. A willingness to channel the Tao through you — to free yourself from the tragic limitations of the egoic mind.

Now that you are aligned with the source, set yourself free to naturally react to everything. No judgment. No control. No plans or strategies. No good or bad. No grasping. Just react to everything that happens from this place of peace and know that everything is ok.

You have escaped the tragic limitations of the mind to effortlessly access a knowing that is infinite. We continue tomorrow and each day after that.
