The opposite of depression is not happiness
Being in a state of depression feels like a dark, rainy day that never stops. Using anti-depressants is like doing nothing more than putting on a raincoat. Sure, the rain is a bit more tolerable...but it still fucking raining.
A moment of happiness can easily be found in a bottle of wine. But, when a person is in an overall state of depression, even moments of happiness fade as quickly as the effects of wine. It just keeps raining.
The cure for depression is excitement! A great life is one in which you are chasing excitement. What excites you? What makes your pulse quicken and gives you butterflies in your stomach just by thinking about it? What would you do if you had $10 million dollars and no limits? What would you do if you didn't care about the judgement of people around you? It doesn't matter what it is. That feeling of excitement is nature's way of nudging you down the path you are supposed to take! Be honest with yourself. What makes you feel that way when you think about it?
The trick is to chase what excites you without just droping everything else. The goal is to minimize the time and energy that goes into all those things that do not excite you. I want to show you how to free of some time and then chase those butterflies in your stomach with everything you have!
